Responsible for one of the largest content management systems in Europe and one of Deutsche Telekom’s major multi-screen personalized client services platforms. Manage projects, staffing, vendors, budgeting, strategic development, integration of software and hardware platforms, with up to 50 people in various teams. Manage a multi-million Euro budget with 360 degree responsibility to ensure development, support, operations and training in cooperation with multiple departments and vendors. Work directly with cross-functional teams in agile environments to produce best possible performance and flexibility. Report up to C-level management within P&I and Deutsche Telekom. Consult other departments on Best Practices. Represent Deutsche Telekom at public functions and technology organizations. Served as Change Agent, advising C-level management during merger.
- Supervise development one of the largest portal solutions in Europe, with the farthest reach in Germany. Generate 25 portals, serving 26 million unique users with 4.5 billion page impressions per month. Move 11 Terabyte data per day, involving up to 50 different platforms.
- Reduced overall cost by approx. 50% in 2 years, while increasing production 13 fold through architectural software and hardware changes.
- Instituted methods and processes to address and implement requirements of up to 200 stakeholders in and outside of Deutsche Telekom.
- Opened new business models outside of Deutsche Telekom through development of a white label personalized client services platform as service aggregator for end users.
- Reduced costly, short term requirements by 100% by creating highly efficient agile development environments.
